Procedure

Disperse Avicel PC 611 and Simulgel i-NS into water. Mix until uniform. Add remaining phase A ingredients. Heat to 85-90°C. Mix until uniform. Combine phase B and heat to 85-90°C. Mix until uniform. Slowly add phase C to phase B keeping temperature at 85-90°C. Add phase B+C to phase A and mix at 4000 rpm for 2 minutes. Cool to 40°C with mixing. Add phase D to phase A+B+C. 11. Mix to room temperature.

Properties

Viscosity—5600cPs, Brookfield, SpindleTB, 5RPM; pH—7.37. Stable after 2 months at RT and 45°C.
